Kane Area Residents Take Not Of This SCAM

It has came to the attention of the Kane Fire Department that phone calls have been being made to the residents of the Kane Area requesting money in the name of Volunteer Fireman's Association. The Kane Fire Department is not associated with this group and they have never heard of this group, this is a SCAM. The Kane Fire Department raises money by mailing fund letters,  boot drives, and various functions throughout the year. Do not give these telemarketers any information or money. If you do receive a call please contact your local Police Department. This Should also go out to ANYONE that receives a call from these people.
